We are seeking to establish this play in Glasgow in 2008 and
beyond! An exciting venture to be able to bring the Gospel to life
in the heart of Glasgow!
WHEN Friday 16th May 2008
10.30am & Saturday 17th May 2008 2.00pm
WHERE Kelvingrove Park,
Glasgow [starting point will be signposted]
THE PLAY: Will be a 2.5
hour version of the life and times of Jesus from his teaching from
the Sermon of the Mount, through to the Trials, Crucifixion and
Ascension.
PRACTICALITIES: The play is
performed in the open air and will be a promenade production, so
audiences should come prepared for all weather! Some walking is
involved and whilst there are paths available, they are not always
wheelchair friendly!
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED? We are looking for
volunteers in the following areas: Actors [no experience required]
Stewards Stage Crew Sound crew Catering Costumes And many other
areas! We are holding our first meeting/rehearsal on January 15th
7.30-9.30pm at Renfield St Stephen's Church, 260 Bath Street,
Glasgow, G2 4JP. Rehearsals will be every Tuesday thereafter
DONATIONS: The performance
will be a FREE performance and so we need to raise around £27,000.

Terrace, Edinburgh, EH7 5QX [MUST be marked for the Glasgow
production] or you can donate online on www.cuttingedgetheatre.co.uk

CHURCHES: We need to ensure that Glasgow
churches are aware of the performance and have an opportunity to
hear more about it, if you are part of a Church in the West, then
please tell them about the production and contact us if you would
like a presentation about the play.
