Who Are We Looking For?
We want YOU to be involved in one of the most exciting open air productions that has been seen in Edinburgh for a long time – over 10,000 people have seen the play over the years it has been performed in Princes Street Gardens.
Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays, 7pm – 9pm, in Gorgie Dalry Stenhouse Church, 190-192 Gorgie Road. Just turn up and you’ll have a warm welcome, there are speaking and non-speaking parts, and there are no auditions – there is something for everyone! With the exception of Duncan Rennie, playing Jesus, all the actors are volunteers with a wide range of experience and abilities. The cast is supported by experienced professionals, director Suzanne Lofthus and stage manager Joanna Kennedy.
If you have questions, contact Suzanne on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who is the Director?
Suzanne Lofthus is Artistic Director of Cutting Edge Theatre Company and has experience of directing many open-air productions including Shakespeare productions toured to Scottish Castles and the large-scale open-air promenade production of The Life of Jesus Christ at Dundas Castle Estate.
